Homemade Granola

I love homemade granola! I love to put it on top of yogurt, fruit bowls, smoothies, or just eat it plain. Last time I made some I used Goop's recipe found here. I've been out of it for awhile now and decided to try out a new recipe.

INGREDIENTS
3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup puffed millet
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 325.
2. In a large bowl combine oats, almonds, coconut, millet, pumpkin seeds, ground flax, cinnamon, ginger, and sea salt.
3. In a saucepan, combine maple syrup and brown sugar. Simmer over low/medium heat, until everything is melted. Slowly pour over oat mixture and mix until incorporated.
4. Spread out mixture on a large, rimmed, baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring it up every 10-15 minutes.
5. Let cool. Store at room temperature. Enjoy!
